Morocco, a true gem of North Africa, offers so much to even a jaded traveler. Its cultural richness and geographical diversity, labyrinth Medinas, vibrant markets and historic architecture captivate and inspire. The Atlas Mountains stand proudly, offering breathtaking landscapes and glimpses into traditional Berber life. Beyond, the Sahara Desert unveils a sea of endless dunes, and sitting alone and watching the sunset, you can’t help but feel very small in the world…

We traveled Morocco for about 10 days, starting with Casablanca, then venturing into Marrakesh, and later traveled through the gorgeous Atlas Mountains. After checking out the movie-making heaven of Ait Ben Haddou and Ouartzazate, we discovered the serenity of the Sahara Desert and danced around the Berber campfire under the bright stars. At the end we explored Fez and ended our trip in the so-called blue pearl of Morocco, Chefchaouen. Have we seen everything that Morocco has to offer? No, we didn’t… Some places, such as Essaouira or Tangier, will have to wait till next time… But I think, we still managed to capture the essence of this beautiful country…

Upon our return, we made a short 10-minute movie about the trip. I really hope you enjoy it and get inspired to travel to Morocco as well!
